Traveling Construction SuperintendentAtlanta, GA | $100,000 to $120,000A commercial general contractor based in Atlanta, GA with over three decades of experience building commercial and industrial structures is expanding its project footprint across the Southeast. The company is hiring a Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground up commercial and industrial construction projects from start to closeout.ScheduleFull time. This role requires extensive travel to active job sites throughout the Southeast for the duration of each project assignment.Compensation$100,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.What You'll DoThe Superintendent will oversee assigned projects from initial mobilization through final closeout, serving as the primary on site point of contact for the client and owner throughout construction. Typical project types include tilt wall and tilt up concrete construction, warehouse and distribution center builds, and big box or large format retail construction. The role involves managing the project schedule and budget, coordinating daily with office staff and trade partners to keep work on track, maintaining a safe job site at all times, and reporting progress regularly to company management.Required QualificationsMinimum 7 years of construction site management experienceDirect experience managing ground up commercial and industrial construction projectsExperience with one or more of the following project types: tilt wall/tilt up concrete, warehouse or distribution center, or big box/large format retail constructionAbility and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southeast for extended project assignmentsWorking knowledge of project scheduling, budget management, and jobsite safety compliancePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related fieldOSHA 30 certificationExperience acting as the primary client facing representative on commercial construction projectsCompensation and BenefitsSalary range of $100,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experienceAnnual profit sharing bonusHealth insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchTwo weeks of paid vacation plus paid holidaysTo apply, please submit your resume for consideration.
