Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol  in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or incidents.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with directions and access-related questions as needed.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
