Revit Drafter

Direct Start is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Drafter to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in drafting and a passion for detail-oriented work. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to create accurate and detailed technical drawings for construction projects
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce 2D and 3D drawings
• Review and analyze technical specifications and blueprints to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Make necessary revisions and modifications to drawings as needed
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation
• Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of drawings
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for drafting and design
• Participate in project meetings and provide input and suggestions for improvement
• Adhere to company and industry safety standards and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in drafting, architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods is a plus
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technology
