Join us and transform the lives of patients while transforming your career.Medical Science Liaison, IgG4 - Rare Disease - DC, MD, DETerritory to include MD, DC, DEWhat you will doIn this vital role you will serve as a scientific liaison to the medical/scientific community and will be responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with prominent experts and clinicians throughout the US.Engage with healthcare partners to educate and communicate clinical and scientific data to advance the scientific platform as aligned with Amgen’s company goals and objectivesEducate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers, providers, key partners, advocacy, and access enablersRespond to unsolicited inquiries consistent with the MSL compliance standardsProvide and/or present field observations and insights to internal collaboratorsImplement a scientific engagement plan according to annual MSL goals and metricsDevelop and implement local OL plans in line with the scientific engagement planSupport speaker training as requested and ensure the speakers are updated on new dataSupport Amgen-sponsored research and may serve as a study leadLiaise with potential investigators in non-sponsored clinical researchLead and/or participate on project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics as delegated by MSL leadershipAdvance the MSL value proposition, identify gaps, achieve results, and set an example for others to follow by consistently demonstrating Amgen's values and leadership attributes. Demonstrate tact and integrity when communicating and interacting with others.Lead and support congress activities as aligned with strategyCompliantly collaborate with cross-functional colleagues. The professional we seek is a self-starter with these qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degreeORMaster’s degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experienceORBachelor’s degree & 5 years of Medical Affairs experiencePreferred Qualifications:Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. (Other Doctoral degrees are considered.)Two years of proven experience in scientific or medical affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical companyThree or more years of clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
