Goldfish Swim School is looking for confident, dependable Swim Instructors who will play a key part in advancing our mission to teach all children how to be safe in and around the water! Job Type: Part-Time Pay: $17 - $19 per hour Hours Required: Minimum of 2 shifts/week (shift length ranging from 3-6 hrs/day)
What You'll Do
Teach swim lessons to children ages 4 months -12 years old using Goldfish's proven, play based curriculum
Create a safe and positive learning environment
Communicate clearly with families about swimmer's progress
Maintain pool safety
Be a supportive, professional teammate on and off the pool deck
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old
Strong communication skills and reliability
Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1-3 years)
Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if not yet certified)
Training & Growth
Paid training provided
Lifeguard certification is required while employed
Courses made available to you for completion within 90 days of employment
You are paid for training time
