What if your next role gave you consistent local work, real authority in the field, and the backing of an established construction management firm?This opportunity is with a well-established construction management company delivering projects throughout Westchester County and Fairfield County, known for hands-on leadership and strong field execution.Why This Role:Full ownership of day-to-day jobsite operations Primarily local projects — limited travel Direct collaboration with Project Management Stable workload with a respected regional builder Competitive pay, PTO, and holidaysRole Snapshot:Title: Construction Superintendent Location: Westchester County & Fairfield County, CT Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm (occasional Saturdays as needed) Project Environment: Active commercial construction sites Position Type: Full-TimeWhat You’ll Be Doing:Lead all daily on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, labor crews, vendors, and suppliers Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure proper execution Maintain construction schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts Conduct daily jobsite inspections to monitor progress and quality Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure code compliance Track materials, deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding progress, issues, and change orders Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and jobsite documentation Resolve field issues, constructability challenges, and subcontractor conflicts Ensure completed work meets company and project quality expectationsWhat Is Sought:High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred) 5+ years of construction field experience, including supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, building codes, and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong communication and organizational abilities Experience with construction management and scheduling software (Excel, Primavera, MS Project, or similar) Valid driver’s license Preferred Experience: OSHA 30 certification Experience working on commercial construction projects Familiarity with scheduling and project tracking toolsWork Environment:Primarily active construction sites Requires standing, walking, climbing, and lifting materials Exposure to weather conditions and jobsite noise Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off and paid holidays
