Administrative Assistant

North of Milwaukee, our TIC office is in West Bend's beautiful historic district filled with the charm of repurposed early 20th century buildings. With many restaurants to choose from and the Eisenbahn State Trail nearby for a quick stroll, you will always find something to do and see.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing and maintaining loan files throughout the lending process, reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness, coordinating file updates, and supporting funding and compliance activities. The position also assists with responding to customer inquiries and credit bureau disputes, maintaining organized records, and performing a variety of administrative tasks. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

This role is required to come into the office 2 days per week to handle incoming correspondence via mail and other administrative duties.

  • Experience with loan origination, servicing, or document management systems

  • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve documentation issues
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to analyze information and prioritize workflow effectively

Nice to Have:

Loan Administration & Documentation

  • Knowledge of loan documentation, funding, and servicing processes
  • Ability to review loan files for completeness and accuracy
  • Understanding of lending policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Experience maintaining electronic loan records and document management systems

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience as a administrative assistant or related role
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer correspondence, accounts logs and procedure manuals. Ability to prepare reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems, involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, and/or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, usually waist high, up to 50 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
